WHY COWBOYS & DRAGONS?
In this series, I explore the relationship of an individual to their mental wellness and how this impacts their path’s trajectory, focusing primarily on the depressive episodes that accompany long periods of solitude. The vessels of this exploration are cowboys - because I watched a lot of Bonanza, listened to Marty Robins, and rode horses growing up - and dragons - because I love them and adore giving a new perspective on something that is typically depicted as violent and intimidating.

Each cowboy has their own way of interacting with their dragon: attempting to ignore it, relying on it completely to guide their path, or finding pockets of joy to share with it.
At times there is a steady hum of discontent during moments that should be enjoyable. Other times, there is deep regret and brokenness after heated situations. All the while, this feeling of isolation begins to take shape and occupy space, contradicting the very definition of being alone. This feeling is always there with them, either lurking in the background or adding depth to the adventure.
How a cowboy interacts with their dragon determines the outcome of an experience.

ABOUT THE CLUB
WHAT WILL COME?
Each month, you’ll get an envelope filled with a little bit of magic:
a 5' x 7'hand-painted and signed print, a letter from the Cowboy, and journal prompts for you to ponder.

WHO IS IT FOR?
This is for anyone who loves fantasy, who still remembers the thrill of getting a letter with your name on it, who wants a break from screens and the endless scroll. It’s a soft place to land in the middle of a loud world. Kids with big feelings, adults craving whimsy, and anyone in the mood to explore their external and internal worlds.

SO, IS IT ALL SAD?
The Sad Cowboy isn’t all doom and gloom — he’s tender, curious, a little melancholy, and always looking to the stars. The Dragon? Mischievous, unpredictable, a reminder that trust can carry you farther than you think. Together, they wander dusty roads, ask big questions, and send stories home to you.

Joining the Club means more than just getting mail. It means carving out a ritual: opening your mailbox, unfolding a story, and filling your space with art. An exciting moment to share, or keep it just for you.
Welcome. You’re on the right trail.
